PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Moving Image Production Class, Department of Film & Video Columbia College Chicago

This project is a short film shot on a HD camera.

"Little Man" (Working Title)

A coming-to-age film about a young boy unknowingly and prematurely pushed to the brink of manhood due to the significant event of the abandonment from his father.

This is an EXTREMELY character-driven film

Experienced Actors are a must. There is an intensively difficult martial argument between these two actors and will require a keen sense of acting.

THIS is a great opportunity for exposure. As stated before, this is a very character-driven film and its success is determined mainly on good performances.

Details of the project will be given to only serious applicants.

CHARACTERS
     
RAY (30-50 Male )
Age: middle-aged man around his 30's or 40's A mysterious and troubled married man who struggles with being a good father and a good husband. His motivations and intentions are often obscure and unknown even to himself.
   
LEYNA (30-50 Female )
Leyna Age: middle-aged woman around her 30's or 40's A self-determined, hardworking, strong mother figure. She is fed-up and on the verge of an emotional breakdown due to significant martial strain. (This is a very challenging role) This is an EXTREMELY character-driven film Experienced Actors are a must.
