Zombie Shark with Snakes for Legs
Zombie Shark with Snakes for Legs is an homage and parody of all sci-fi monster movies everywhere. Set in Chicago, an elite group of marines must battle the zombie shark, its undead minions, and a corrupt government before it is too late.
Originally pitched as a joke on the internet, this film was granted a six million dollar budget by a successful businessman, Hector Stopp, who saw potential in the concept. The director, David Elliott, intends to cast the entire film over the internet, via YouTube. To audition, please visit www.internetcelebritydavidelliott.info for details.
The following six characters have their own scripted material you can find on the website.
Mayor Doley
Male, 50’s.
A man who will do anything for a vote, even MURDER. Behind his flat expression and vacant eyes rests the slow-beating heart of a psychopath.
Axel Blade
Male, 20’s
A consummate professional who has received over a dozen medals. Smart, precise, dangerous.
Sophia Brixton
Female, 30’s
A beautiful, vivacious doctor who is desirable and deadly.
Purvis Vane
Male, 30’s
A cold, calculating genius, he distances himself from those around him, perhaps because of a dark secret.
Tony O’Niell
Male, 20’s
A caring private who respects his superiors and just wants to be one of the guys.
Natasha Vaningrodingriana
Female, 20’s
The beautiful ice queen, second in command of Lance’s unit. A professional killer with no emotion, but hides a deep lust for Lance with an icy façade.
The following characters are open to interpretation from the auditionee, and we invite as much improvisation as possible. Make these characters your own.
Lance Buckshot, 20’s
The leader of the Bravo team. Sent in to destroy the zombie shark and locate Axel Blade and his men.
Sam (20’s), Max (30’s), Jean (30’s), Grant (40’s), Liam (30’s), Gordon (40’s).
The elite soldiers of the Bravo team, a tight-knit group who have spent the past seven years together.
Dr. Hillary (50’s), Professor Chinnery (40’s), Dr. Stobbart (30’s).
Doctors who had a hand in the creation of the Zombie Shark.
Joey Funelli (30’s).
A sassy, street-smart taxi driver who just wants to get out of Chicago alive.
Cassius Crab (20’s).
An opportunistic beggar, who sees the Zombie Shark as an excuse to rob the finest stores in Chicago before fleeing to safety.
John (1, Clay (1, Lavern (15), Chase (16), Quarnina (17).
A group of rebellious children who want to find their parents, dead or alive.
Ahmed Jordan (30’S).
The mayor’s right hand man, oblivious to his friends betrayal of the city.
Nathan Junta (60’S).
A sanctimonious priest who warns his congregation that the world is ending, shortly before being eaten by the shark.
Roy, Claire, Colin, Steve, Nancy, Mabel (age to be determined).
A happy group of people on a boat. First victims of the shark.
Given the nature of this project, if you can come up with any more characters, please feel free to suggest them, and show how they would work.
We will also be looking for musicians to do the theme song.

On November 5th of this year, the chosen actors will be announced. Feedback from the internet will be used in making these decisions.
PLEASE NOTE: This audition is open to everybody the world over. If we feel you are good enough to be in this film, we will pay for the costs to fly you to Chicago for filming, as well as living expenses during your stay. Salary for the film will be at least $5,000 and will go up to $100,000 depending on size of role and time spent on set.
