what happened to free?

Hi,

Many actors have asked us "what happen to all of our free services?"

Actors Pages started to charge $1 a month (which is really nothing for all the hard work we do to promote talent all over the world) because our industry started to get submissions from users that has no business being on this site. And since we can't monitor who submit what, we needed to come up with a way to discourage unprofessional users from using this site. Those individuals hurt our name and also the chances of the professional actors to be taken seriously.

So a $1 fee helped separate those unwanted submissions and kept unprofessional users from using this site. Being a professional actor myself I really don't consider $1 a month (which is actually a storage fee) a big deal for what I'm getting by using this amazing site, which is much more than just another acting jobs site.
